Terms and Conditions

We ask that you book via airbnb and we essentially adopt their terms as ours.

The only extras are-
1 That we ask that you arrive after 3.30pm and leave by 10.30 am.
2 That  guide dogs do not go upstairs or on the furniture and are on a lead at all times when outside the garden.
3 Stick to the signed footpaths on the Estate please, and the woodlands are most definitely out of bounds .
4 Don’t light a fire in the dining room
5 Never block the drive when parked.
6 Put nothing down the loos apart form human waste and loo roll .

Access Statement

We hope that a person of limited mobility will be able to stay with us, but to do so you would need to sleep downstairs and therefore book the extra room.

There is a loo but no shower downstairs  . The doors are of standard width, but some are only 5 foot 10 inches high.

Entrance for wheel chair users is via the front door not the back – it leads into the sitting room and and extra bedroom. The gravel is rather crunchy for wheelchairs but  the distance over gravel is less than 5 yards

Guest Testimonials

What a find! The home-made beef sausages in the welcome pack were on the barbecue within an hour of my arrival ,and eaten while admiring the stupendous view which seemed to stretch for ever.  We  had a great three nights and the beds were really comfortable. So much still to see – so we will be back  .

We took your advice and went to Wallington and sleepy Brinkburn. I sincerely doubt we’d have known about them otherwise. A brilliant stay and the kitchen was a dream to cook in. Having a separate dining room was great, and the evening sun poured in while we had dinner .
